Hi GitHub team,

I would like to suggest adding official support for GitHub Copilot in Theia IDE.
Copilot is already widely used in Visual Studio Code and other IDEs, but Theia
is increasingly adopted in cloud-based and enterprise environments.

Having Copilot available in Theia would:

• Improve developer productivity with AI-assisted code completion.
• Align Theia with modern AI-driven workflows.
• Benefit organizations that rely on Theia for extensibility and flexibility.

Is there any plan or possibility to enable Copilot integration with Theia,
either through VS Code extension compatibility or direct collaboration?
