Hi,

we currently migrate about 40 Projects/Repositories from gitlab to github Enterprise Cloud. One of the most important things we are missing and that we have used excessively in gitlab is "Linked items" where you can manage within an Issue a list of other Issues that are related to each other, so more horizontal than vertical (like Sub-Issues).
All workarounds that people suggest like mentioning a related Issue in the body or working with custom fields in Projects are all bad workarounds...

This is an important feature for structured, comprehensible and efficient documentation of Issues in cross functional teams.
Is there a chance that such a feature will be introduced into github Enterprise (Cloud)?

This is a very important feature, especially for teams migrating from GitLab.

The ability to create horizontal relationships between issues (not just parent-child/sub-issues) is critical for managing complex workflows across multiple teams and repositories. Current workarounds like mentioning issues in the description or using project fields are not sufficient and become hard to maintain at scale.

A dedicated “Related Issues” section within each issue—where multiple issues can be linked as equals—would greatly improve traceability, organization, and collaboration.

This would be a significant improvement for GitHub Enterprise users handling large, cross-functional projects.

Hope this feature can be considered in the roadmap.
