Discussion Details
The background here is that I've got a bunch of repositories where my team do not want Dependabot providing scheduled updates; they only want security updates. Some of these repositories also contain deprecated code I want to exclude from this scanning.
As far as I can see, the mechanism for doing this is https://docs.github.com/en/code-security/reference/supply-chain-security/dependabot-options-reference#exclude-paths- . However https://docs.github.com/en/code-security/reference/supply-chain-security/dependabot-options-reference#schedule- is a required parameter, and there is no "never" option for https://docs.github.com/en/code-security/reference/supply-chain-security/dependabot-options-reference#interval .
As such,
Is what I want, but also not valid.
