Issue Reapplying for Student Developer Pack After Removal

Hi everyone,

I've been a member of the GitHub Student Developer Pack for around 1.5 years without any issues. I was able to access benefits, including GitHub Copilot, normally during that time.

However, about a week ago, I received an email stating that I had lost access to Copilot, followed by another email confirming that I had been removed from the Student Developer Pack program.

After looking into this, I realised I had originally signed up using my personal email address instead of my school email. To correct this, I submitted a new application using my school email with updated and accurate student information.

Unfortunately, when I attempted to submit the application, I encountered the following error:

Could anyone please clarify:

• Why my original access was revoked?
• Whether using a personal email initially could have caused this issue?
• How I can successfully reapply or resolve the error I'm encountering? (since the usual application popup doesn't seem to be working for me)

It’s likely the mismatch between personal vs school email triggered GitHub’s verification system to revoke access, so reapplying with correct student credentials and checking eligibility rules usually helps fix it. If the application form still glitches, sometimes switching browsers or clearing cache works, similar to how platforms like chatpic org can behave differently depending on session state and login flow.

Tried clearing cache + switching to Chrome and neither worked. Thanks for the idea though!
