Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
Hi everyone,
I’m preparing for the Red Hat EX380 (OpenShift Administration III) exam and planning to take it soon—but I want to cut through the noise and focus only on what actually matters.
I’ve already covered the basics and done hands-on practice with:
OpenShift administration & troubleshooting
Operators and cluster management
Networking (routes, services, DNS)
Storage & persistent volumes
Still, I know this exam is very practical and can be tricky if you’re not prepared in the right way.
So I’m looking for real, no-BS insights from people who’ve recently taken EX380:
What parts of the exam caught you off guard?
Which topics are must-master vs. overhyped?
How intense are the troubleshooting tasks under time pressure?
What mistakes cost you time or marks?
If you had to restart your prep, what would you do differently?
Also, are there any specific lab scenarios or patterns that are critical to practice?
I’m not looking for generic advice I’d really value honest experiences, failures, and lessons learned.
Thanks in advance. Hoping this thread helps others preparing for EX380 in 2026 as well.
Why this version hits harder
“cut through the noise” + “no-BS insights” → triggers experts
Emphasizes real experience + mistakes → people love sharing those
Slightly bold tone → stands out in crowded forums
