Hey @matheusconaga Welcome Welcome! I love this project ❤️ Had a very quick look and I like the idea of the cards for the individual projects - I'm a visual learner so seeing that is easy for me to digest. Quick Question - https://github-project-cards.vercel.app/ 👈 Is this live?
That is a good question. Truly, to be more active in the GitHub community/platform is focus on projects you feel a kinship to. Instead of contributing to everything and everywhere look to perhaps projects that you use daily and help them with what you know. That will help with the consistency because you would have already made the connection - it helps with the long journey motivation. Here is https://forgoodfirstissue.github.com/ - have a wee read of this. GitHub platform is a supplement to the wider open source community so branch out. Share your project or ideas on social media (bluesky/mastodon etc) and look and connect to others on the social platforms and sincerely celebrate their work. Take your time to make the connection - trust and reputation (as a cool contributor) doesn't happen over night. If referring to this GitHub Community I would share the similar advice. Make a connection. Talk about your struggles and ask for advice. Looking in Programming Help category for any UI issues or questions about a particular framework or language you're familiar with. Hope that helps. |

Introduce yourself 👋
Hey everyone! My name is Matheus, I'm a Fullstack Developer from Brazil, but currently I'm mainly focused on building frontend experiences and improving my UI/UX skills.
In the last months I’ve been rebuilding my portfolio and trying to have a stronger presence on GitHub, both by creating personal projects and also starting open-source projects.
Most of my projects are focused on:
One of the first open-source projects I’m developing here is a customization project focused on improving portfolio presentations on GitHub, making them more interactive and visually interesting, including preview images for repositories and projects.
Things I’m interested in
I would love to participate more actively in the community, sharing ideas about design and development, receiving feedback, and also helping with other open-source projects if you have suggestions.
