Github deployment action stuck for more than 10 hours. Cant even cancel the workflow

Deployment action for github pages is stuck for more than 10 hours and i cant cancel the workflow, whenever i try canceling it, i get an error "failed to cancel the workflow". I am not able to deploy my new changes. Please fix this
