Update: I've followed the "select all filters on web" technique (https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/170671#discussioncomment-14222618), and it works, I now see the personalized feeds. But it still feels very fragile, for example, If I de-select "repository activity" on web filter, then on mobile the issue is back. If only I have to select all filters, then tons of unwanted feeds is displayed. It used to working without any trick. Overall, this UX now is very disappointing.

iOS
Body
I am seeing a regression in the GitHub iOS app Explore tab.
Environment:
Platform: iOS 18
App: GitHub for iOS, latest App Store version
Tab affected: Explore
Observed behavior:
The Explore tab no longer shows the subscribed/followed activity feed I normally expect. Instead, it mostly shows generic repository recommendation cards, especially “awesome-list” style repositories such as:
awesome-selfhosted / awesome-selfhosted
trimstray / the-book-of-secret-knowledge
avelino / awesome-go
This makes the Explore tab much less useful, because it no longer behaves like an activity feed for repositories/people I follow or care about.
Expected behavior:
Explore should continue to show relevant activity from followed users, starred/subscribed repositories, releases, and repository activity, according to my feed/filter settings. Generic recommendations should not replace the activity feed entirely.
Troubleshooting already tried:
Confirmed I am on the latest GitHub iOS app version.
Opened GitHub on the web.
Went to Home → Filters.
Confirmed/re-enabled relevant activity/feed options, including starred repository events where available.
Force-quit and reopened the iOS app.
Reset activity filter on iOS app.
What's more, I've also tried to remove not only the app but also the cache data in iOS and reinstall it, re-login.
The issue still persists.
btw, on web it is OK.
