I purchased the Copilot Pro subscription yesterday and successfully paid $48. However, I am still unable to use Copilot Pro features on my account.

I am continuously getting the following message:

“You’ve reached your monthly chat messages quota. Upgrade to Copilot Pro or wait for your allowance to renew.”

Even after completing the payment, GitHub still behaves as if my subscription is inactive or not properly updated.

Because of this issue, my work is getting affected urgently. Please check my account, verify the payment, and activate the Copilot Pro benefits as soon as possible.

If this issue cannot be resolved immediately, then please process a refund for the amount charged to my account.

I would appreciate a quick resolution to this issue.

Hi @techonline-dev,

This usually happens when the Copilot Pro subscription hasn’t fully synced with the account yet, even after payment.

You can try:

• Logging out and logging back into GitHub
• Checking Copilot billing status here: https://github.com/settings/copilot
• Waiting a few hours, as activation can sometimes take some time after payment processing

If it still shows the same message after some time, it may be a backend activation issue and you should contact GitHub Support so they can verify your subscription status.

You bought GitHub Pro instead of Copilot Pro, Copilot Pro isn't included in GitHub Pro.

ohk but Copilot also unable to use here i have subscription
