My old account is Fatpandac.

I have not received any email notifications regarding this issue. The account access problem occurred unexpectedly. I received an email notification about an issue reply yesterday, but today I am unable to log in to the account anymore.

Could you please help me investigate what happened?

Sorry to hear that. A few things you can try:

1. Check your email inbox, spam, and promotions folders for any messages from GitHub about account restrictions or security reviews.
2. Try using the "Forgot password" option to confirm whether the account is still associated with your email address.
3. If you had two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, verify that you're using the correct authentication method and recovery codes.
4. Check whether your GitHub profile page is publicly accessible when viewed from another browser or device.
5. Contact GitHub Support and provide your username, registered email address, and the approximate time you lost access.

Unfortunately, account suspensions cannot be resolved by the community, and only GitHub Support can review the account and provide the exact reason or restore access if appropriate.

GitHub staff cannot investigate individual account lockouts or security issues publicly in the Community Discussions for privacy and security reasons.

To get your account investigated and recovered, you need to open an official ticket with the GitHub Support team:

Go to the [GitHub Support Portal](https://support.github.com/).

If you cannot log in, select the option to open a ticket without logging in (or use the "Can't sign in" recovery options).

Provide your old username (Fatpandac) and mention that you suddenly lost access despite receiving notifications just a day prior.

The support team will look into your account status securely via email.

Nobody in the community can investigate account access issues or see what happened to a specific account. Only GitHub Support has access to account records, login history, suspension status, and recovery options.

If you suddenly lost access, I would first check whether you can still reset your password using the email address associated with the account. Also check your spam/junk folder for any security or account-related emails from GitHub.

If the account is suspended, locked, or otherwise inaccessible, you'll need to contact GitHub Support and provide the username (Fatpandac) along with as much information as possible about when you last had access and any error messages you're seeing. Community members won't be able to determine the cause from here.
