Request to Restore Deleted Organization

Hi all,

I need urgent help regarding an organization that was accidentally deleted from my GitHub account. The organization , and I was the administrator.

Details:

Deletion Date: 18 May 2026

Support Ticket Number: #4441855

This deletion also removed all associated repositories, which contained critical company projects. The impact is significant and urgent, as we rely heavily on these repositories for ongoing development.

I’ve already submitted a support ticket, but have not received a response yet. Could someone from the GitHub team or community please advise if it's possible to restore the organization and its repositories, assuming they are still within the grace period?

Any help or direction would be deeply appreciated.

If the organization was deleted on 18 May 2026 and you've already opened Support Ticket #4441855, the best course of action is to wait for GitHub Support, as only GitHub staff can restore a deleted organization and its repositories. If the repositories are still within GitHub's retention period, Support may be able to assist with recovery.Else, the GitHub community cannot restore deleted organizations or repositories, so this will require intervention from GitHub Support.
