Hi, Waiting can definitely be frustrating, especially after providing all requested documents and following the instructions carefully. From what many community members have observed, verification and support queues are not always processed strictly in chronological order. Different cases may require different levels of review, so it is possible for someone who applied later to receive a decision earlier. Since your ticket is still open, that generally means your case has not been closed or rejected. Community members and moderators typically cannot access support tickets directly, so only GitHub Support can review ticket #4427505. For privacy reasons, you may also want to avoid posting ticket numbers publicly. If additional information is needed, GitHub staff will usually contact you through the existing support thread. Hopefully a member of the GitHub team can review your case and provide an update soon. Thank you for your patience, and I hope your faculty verification is resolved successfully. |

Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
I am experiencing a serious issue with my GitHub Education faculty verification request.
My support ticket (#4427505) has been open for more than two weeks. During this time, the GitHub Support team asked me to provide additional verification documents and follow specific instructions. I carefully completed every step exactly as requested and submitted all required evidence.
Unfortunately, since then, I have not received any response or update regarding my application, and the ticket remains open.
What concerns me even more is that a colleague of mine submitted a similar application about a week after I did, and his request was reviewed and approved within only a few days. This makes me wonder if there may be an issue with my ticket or if it was unintentionally overlooked.
I fully understand that support teams handle many requests, but waiting more than two weeks without any update after complying with all instructions is becoming very frustrating.
Could a moderator or GitHub staff member please review my case or advise me on the next steps? I would greatly appreciate any assistance regarding ticket #4427505.
Thank you for your time and support.
