Redeem Benefits/Offers
Hi everyone,
Hello,
I have an active GitHub Student Developer Pack (verified on June 3, 2026, valid until June 3, 2028). My benefits are correctly enabled, and I can access the Student offers page.
However, I do not have access to GitHub Copilot Pro in VS Code.
In my benefits page, I see the message:
"New Copilot plan sign-ups are temporarily paused as we ensure a high-quality experience."
So I would like to understand:
Is Copilot Pro currently unavailable for all students?
Do I need to manually activate something once sign-ups resume?
Will I automatically get access once the pause is lifted?
Is there any workaround to use Copilot with the Student Pack right now?
I have already:
Installed the GitHub Copilot extension in VS Code
Logged in with the same GitHub account linked to my Student Pack
But Copilot is still not فعال / accessible.
Thanks in advance for your help!
