Hi everyone,

Username: box-core
My student developer pack verification status is fully approved, valid until June 1, 2028.
When attempting to redeem the free Copilot Student Pro benefit on the education pack page, there is no activation button, only a notice that new student plan sign-ups are temporarily suspended. My current Copilot plan remains Copilot Free with strict monthly usage limits.
Copilot is GitHub’s official self-operated product, not a third-party partner offer. I have submitted a support ticket before but only received a generic auto-reply directing me to third-party support links which cannot resolve this internal plan pause issue.
Please check if there is an exception process to manually activate my student Copilot license.

We have provided more details about changes to Copilot Individual Plans in this discussion.

From the FAQ:

10. I'm newly eligible for Copilot Student but have never activated it. Can I sign up now?
    At this time, new activations of Copilot Student, Pro, and Pro+ are paused.

Your GitHub Education verification is active and has not been removed. The pause affects the ability to activate Copilot Student or a Copilot paid plan. When signups resume, you will be able to activate the Education benefit if you are still eligible. In the meantime, Copilot Free remains available for signups.

We do not have an estimated timeframe to share yet for when the pause will end.
