Repeated Rejection / Loop: Unable to Join GitHub Student Developer Pack Despite Submitting All Valid Documents #198617

Few things worth trying: IGNOU specifically has had issues — open/distance learning universities sometimes don't match GitHub's academic DB, so it falls back to manual review but the loop triggers before it gets there Use your admit card / hall ticket as the primary doc, not the bonafide letter. Bonafide certificates alone often get auto-rejected. The hall ticket you've uploaded looks clean, lead with that Your GitHub account age and activity matters — accounts with little to no commit history sometimes get extra scrutiny from the verifier Try submitting from campus wifi or mobile data — geolocation matching your institution's city actually helps If you're still stuck after that, raise a ticket directly at support.github.com with "Student Developer Pack" as the topic and mention the loop behavior explicitly. Support can manually approve it — the automated system just won't budge sometimes. |

Re-verification/Repeat Application
Hi everyone,
I am writing this post to seek assistance regarding my application for the GitHub Student Developer Pack. Despite providing all the required, valid official documentation, my application is continuously getting rejected (or stuck in a loop), and I am unable to access my student benefits.
My Situation & Steps Taken:
Official Documents Provided: I have uploaded clear, high-resolution copies of my official Student ID card, current Semester Fee Receipts, and an official Bonafide Enrollment Certificate issued directly by my institution.
Details Match: My full legal name, the institution's official name, and the current ongoing academic session are explicitly and clearly legible on all submitted documents.
Profile Consistency: My GitHub profile name, bio, and billing information precisely match the details printed on my academic paperwork.
Geofencing & Setup: I have ensured my browser's location permissions are turned on, disabled any active VPNs/proxies, and attempted to apply using standard network connections to prevent automated IP flag issues.
The Problem:
Despite all these verifications, the system automatically rejects the application stating it cannot verify my academic affiliation, or it traps me in an application refresh loop without giving a clear manual upload alternative.
Since my institution does not provide unique .edu or .ac.in student emails (which is very common for many colleges and regional institutions), uploading these physical verification papers is my only method of approval.
Request for Help:
Is there a community moderator or GitHub Education support team member who can look into this application? Since automated checks seem to fail despite full documentation compliance, a manual review of my case would be highly appreciated.
