Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
Ticket #4443925 has been stalled for over a week
I'm hoping someone from GitHub or the community can help point me in the right direction.
I have an active GitHub Pro account through the Student Developer Pack, which is valid until July 2027. Before the March/April 2026 Copilot changes, I had student Copilot access without any issues. However, after the migration, my account was switched to GitHub Copilot Free instead of retaining the student entitlement I should have had.
Because of this, I've lost access to the Copilot benefits that were previously available on my account. My student verification and GitHub Pro status are still active, so this appears to be an account entitlement or migration problem rather than an eligibility issue.
I opened support ticket #4443925 and provided the relevant information, but the ticket has been sitting for over a week without any update. At this point, I'm completely blocked from using Copilot as intended and am waiting for someone to manually review and correct the account.
Has anyone experienced something similar, or is there a way to get a stalled ticket escalated?
