Hi, I have shared a document of my current enrollment and statistics of my academic prowress and yet I can't get me verified. It's marked as they have different spelling's but I have checked and they not. I have had like 7 rejections. Everything seems in order but its not going through.

My friend had this exact same issue and finally got it through after getting rejected multiple times. The automated AI reader is incredibly strict and easily triggers false mismatches. Here is what you need to do to fix it:

1. Check Your Name Sequence: Go to your GitHub Public Profile and your Billing Settings. Your name there must match the exact word order, spacing, and middle names printed on your transcript.

2. Clear Your Cache: Once your name matches perfectly, log completely out of GitHub, clear your browser cache (or open an Incognito window), log back in, and try applying again. If you don't do this, GitHub will keep reading your old, cached profile data and reject you instantly.

3. Watch Out for Text Overlaps: Ensure the photo is perfectly crisp. If a university stamp, signature, or screen glare overlaps even a single letter of your name, the AI reader will misread it and claim the spellings don't match.

If you try all of this and it still fails, go to support.github.com and open a ticket under 'Account' or 'Other' (avoid choosing the 'Education' category, or it will block you from submitting). Tell them the automated OCR is stuck in a bug loop throwing a false name mismatch.

If you've already had 7 rejections and you're certain the spelling matches, double-check for small differences such as middle names/initials, accents or special characters, abbreviations, reversed surname order, or extra spaces between documents and your GitHub profile details. If everything is identical, I'd recommend contacting GitHub Support and attaching the same documents along with the rejection details so they can manually review the case.

Here are the exact steps that usually get people past this specific error:

1. Match Your GitHub Profile Name Exactly
   The verification bot compares the name on your document directly to the "Name" field in your public GitHub profile. Go to your GitHub settings and temporarily change your display name to match your document verbatim—including middle names, initials, and the exact order of the words. You can change it back to your preferred name after you get verified!

2. Watch Out for Glare and Misreads
   The automated camera often mistakes similar-looking letters (like a lowercase 'l' and a capital 'I', or an 'O' and a zero). Make sure your document is perfectly flat with absolute zero glare over your name.

3. Language/Character Issues
   If your document is not in English, the automated system sometimes struggles to perfectly translate your native spelling into English characters. If this is the case, your best bet is to ask your school for a standard "Bonafide Certificate" or enrollment letter officially printed in English.

Try updating your GitHub profile name first, as that solves this issue 90% of the time. Keep trying, you'll get through it!
