Hi everyone,

Issue Summary

I've successfully verified my student status on GitHub (verified on June 05, 2026), and my education coupon has been applied. However, my Copilot subscription is still showing as "Free" instead of being upgraded to the student plan.

Current Status

• ✅ Education Benefits: Verified and available
• ✅ Student Coupon: Applied (expires in almost 2 years)
• ✅ Application Type: Student
• ❌ Copilot Subscription: Still showing "Free" (should be "Copilot Student")

The Student Developer Pack benefits are still fully available, though only the free tier of GitHub Copilot can be used for now.

There is no waiting time to fix this—GitHub has temporarily suspended all new sign-ups for the Copilot Student plan starting April 20, 2026, with no official reopening date announced.Even if your Student Developer Pack is fully verified, you can only access Copilot Free for now.
