Suspended Account Causing Organization to be Flagged? #198973

Hi there, @Nemmen Getting hit with a suspension and seeing your organization flagged is incredibly stressful, but what you are seeing is actually standard procedure. When an organization owner's account gets suspended, GitHub automatically hides any organizations they own from the public as a security measure. To answer your questions: Will it restore automatically? Yes, in almost all cases. Once your personal account appeal is approved and the suspension is lifted, the organization's public visibility is usually restored automatically. If it stays hidden after you are unbanned, you can just reply to your support ticket and they will flip the switch. How long does it take? This is the tough part. GitHub Support is currently dealing with a massive system-wide backlog. Reviews for account suspensions are taking quite a while—often anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks (and sometimes longer). The best thing you can do is submit your appeal through the GitHub Support portal and just wait. Do not submit multiple tickets, as that will push you all the way back to the end of the queue. Hang in there, and hopefully, they get your account restored soon! |

My GitHub account has been suspended, and the organization associated with it (godigitifyhq) is now showing the message:
"The organization has been flagged and hidden from the public."
I can still access some repositories as a member, but external integrations and services may be affected.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation where an organization's visibility was restricted because the owner account was suspended?
How long did GitHub Support take to review your appeal, and was the organization automatically restored once the account suspension was lifted?
Any insights would be appreciated.
