Hey! This is a very common gap — "Copilot claimed" on the Education portal and Copilot actually being active on your account are two separate things. Here's the exact sequence to fix it: 1. Manually activate Copilot from the settings page 2. Check for a conflicting Free plan enrollment 3. Confirm the benefit is tied to the right account 4. Wait up to 24 hours and hard-refresh
If it still shows Free after all of this, open a ticket at https://support.github.com and include a screenshot of your Education benefits page showing "Copilot claimed." GitHub Support can manually sync the entitlement on their end. Hope this helps! |
