This looks intentional rather than a rendering bug. GitHub may keep some elements in the HTML for progressive enhancement or consistency, while hiding them in the mobile logged-out view to simplify the interface. If the behavior changed recently, it may also be part of a mobile UX update or an A/B experiment. |

When viewing any GitHub repository from its mobile version without being logged in, the repository description, star count, fork count, and other metadata — as well as action buttons — don't appear in the UI. However, the button markup is still present in the page HTML (I can't confirm the same for the other metadata).
My question is: was this intentional? Because before, such data was present. The reason why it was hidden visually but not in the HTML is unclear to me.
