Repository description and buttons don't show up when not logged in on mobile

When viewing any GitHub repository from its mobile version without being logged in, the repository description, star count, fork count, and other metadata — as well as action buttons — don't appear in the UI. However, the button markup is still present in the page HTML (I can't confirm the same for the other metadata).

My question is: was this intentional? Because before, such data was present. The reason why it was hidden visually but not in the HTML is unclear to me.

This looks intentional rather than a rendering bug. GitHub may keep some elements in the HTML for progressive enhancement or consistency, while hiding them in the mobile logged-out view to simplify the interface. If the behavior changed recently, it may also be part of a mobile UX update or an A/B experiment.
If you want a definitive answer, the GitHub staff team would be the best source, since only they can confirm whether this was an intentional UI change.
