shivammathur/setup-phphas over 200k dependent repositories as a GitHub Action, but the repository page does not show the “Used by” widget in the right sidebar.Repository: https://github.com/shivammathur/setup-php
Dependents page: https://github.com/shivammathur/setup-php/network/dependents
The GitHub Action package is selected in the repository’s “Used by counter” settings, and the dependents are visible in the dependency graph. So this does not appear to be a configuration issue.
For popular GitHub Actions, the dependent repository count is an important trust and adoption signal, just like it is for packages. If an action has hundreds of thousands of public dependents, that should be visible on the repository page.
So I’m requesting that GitHub Actions dependent counts be visible in the repository sidebar “Used by” widget when a GitHub Action package is selected for the counter in the repository settings.
