Unable to join waitlist for GitHub Copilot Desktop App on Windows ARM #199515

Hi, This usually happens when the Copilot desktop app is opened on a device or account that isn’t currently eligible for the preview/waitlist, or when the signup flow fails to load properly in the app UI. 1 - First, try signing up through the official Copilot page in a browser instead of the desktop app. The waitlist enrollment typically works more reliably there. 2 - Make sure you are signed into the same GitHub account in both the browser and the desktop app. If the account isn’t eligible yet, the button may appear but not complete the action. 3 - Try restarting the app or reinstalling it, and ensure you’re running the latest version for Windows ARM. Sometimes the UI button fails to trigger due to an outdated build. 4 - If possible, try a different network or disable any VPN/proxy, as network restrictions can sometimes block the waitlist request from being sent. 5 - If the issue continues, it’s likely a known onboarding/preview bug or eligibility limitation, and the best option is to report it through GitHub Support or wait until the rollout expands to your account. At the moment, there isn’t a separate manual waitlist link beyond the official signup flow, so the browser-based enrollment is usually the most reliable way to join. |

Hi everyone,
I downloaded the Windows ARM version of the GitHub Copilot desktop app from the website. When I launch the application, I get a screen saying I am not on the list yet. However, when I click the green "Join waitlist" button, nothing happens and it does not give me any option to actually sign up or join the waitlist. Is this a known bug, or is there another way I can get on the waitlist?
