Hi everyone,

my application for the github education pack got rejected 2 times i uploaded my id card but it got rejected dont know why then i uploaded my class schedule about 4 days ago and the status is pending till now and i cant even start a new application now bcoz of this application is still pending what should i do??

sorry youre stuck in this loop ,,,a few things specific to your situation :
on the id card rejections (happened twice):

• school /student ids often get rejected because the expiration date isnt visible or the id looks expired/old,,,or because the photo quality makes the school name/ logo hardd for the automated system to read clearly. for future reference ,a clear ,well-lit,fully-in-frame photo with the school name and your name both clearly readable works best.
  on the 4-day pending status(class schedule):
• this is genuinely within normal range right now,,,reviews have been taking anywhere from a few days to 1-2+ weeks lately based on other threads here.class schedules alone are sometimes weaker proof than other documents since they dont always show your name+enrollment status together clearly ,,, that might be part of why its sitting longer than a stronger document would,
  on not being able to start a new application :
• this is expected behavior ,,, github only allows one active application at a time.since your previous one is still "pending"(not yet rejected) ,,,you genuinely have to wait for that one to resolve before a new attempt is alllowed. theres no way to force-cancel and restart from your side.

what id do right now:
give it until the 7-day mark total since your class schedule submission. if its still stuck pending with zero movement past that,,,,,,email education@github.com directly with yourr username and mention both rejected attempts+the current pending one,asking them to manually review.

that gets a human to look at it rather than waiting on the automated queue indefinitely 💙

Mine is at six days now. But if you read the response above it will tell you to email github after seven days. It seems like it takes a little while for a real person to verify thing and turn it on for you.
