Hi, Based on the eligibility requirement stating that applicants must have more than one year remaining as a student before graduation, your timeline would likely not meet the requirement if you're graduating in March or May 2027 and applying in the July 2026 cycle. Using the July 31, 2026 application deadline as the reference point, you would have approximately 7–10 months remaining before graduation, which is less than the required one year. While only the Campus Experts team can provide a definitive answer, the requirement is generally interpreted based on your expected graduation date at the time of application. If your graduation date is fixed for March or May 2027, there's a good chance you may be considered ineligible for that cycle. I'd recommend reaching out to the Campus Experts team directly for confirmation before investing significant time in the application. They can clarify whether there is any flexibility or if exceptions are ever considered. Good luck! |

Hi everyone,
Hi everyone,
I'm a final-year Computer Science Engineering student planning to apply for the GitHub Campus Experts program in the upcoming July 2026 cycle. My graduation date is either March or May 2027.
The eligibility page says applicants need "more than one year left as a student before graduating." Counting from when applications close (July 31, 2026) to my graduation date, that comes out to roughly 7–10 months, not over a year.
Has anyone applied with a similar timeline, or knows if this is calculated strictly from the application close date? Want to confirm before I put together the full application.
Thanks!
