Continuous Auto-Rejection Due to Name/OCR Matching and Camera Blur Issues - Username: @Wannzh #200141

This seems to be an OCR and document-formatting issue rather than an actual name mismatch. If the document splits your full name into two lines, GitHub’s automated system may be reading only part of it and rejecting the application. You can try uploading a document where your full legal name appears clearly on one line, such as an enrollment/bonafide letter from your university. The name on your GitHub profile and billing information should match that document exactly. For the blurry capture issue, try using a different browser, good lighting, no screen glare, and a plain background. If the capture still becomes blurry after clicking, it is likely a verification-page camera bug and should be escalated for manual review by GitHub Education support/moderators. |

Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
Hello GitHub Education Community,
I am writing this post because my GitHub Student application keeps getting instantly auto-rejected by the system. My username is @Wannzh.
I am an active student at Universitas Nasional Pasim in Bandung, Indonesia. I have made sure that my GitHub Public Profile Name, GitHub Billing Information, and my official academic documents all match my legal name perfectly.
However, my official student document (KRS/Class Schedule) displays my full name broken down into two lines like this due to the character length:
Line 1: MUHAMAD ALWAN
Line 2: FADHLURROHMAN
Because of this layout, the automated OCR system seems to fail to read the second line ("FADHLURROHMAN") and only registers the first line ("MUHAMAD ALWAN"). This instantly triggers an auto-rejection stating that my first/last names do not match my billing information.
To resolve this layout issue, I also tried using my official Student ID Card (KTM). On my Student ID, my name is shortened to "Muhamad Alwan F." I then carefully adjusted both my GitHub Public Profile and Billing Information to exactly match the shortened name "Muhamad Alwan F." to see if the OCR could read it better. Unfortunately, the bot still instantly rejected it with the generic message: "We were unfortunately not able to verify your academic status. Please address the following issues and apply again."
Aside from the document layout, I am also experiencing a major technical issue with the live capture feature. I have tried using 2 different smartphones to take the photo. Before clicking the capture button, the preview on the screen looks perfectly sharp, crisp, and readable. However, the moment I click capture, the resulting image suddenly becomes very blurry. I suspect it might be a glitch caused by the camera UI or the green checklist/overlay system from GitHub's verification page overlapping with the captured image.
I am now stuck in an automated loop where neither my full multi-line document nor my shortened single-line ID card is being accepted, and the camera system keeps blurring out my clear documents. Since individual manual reviews via standard support tickets are no longer provided, I have no way to move forward.
Could any community moderator or staff help look into my account or guide me on how to bypass these automated layout and camera glitches?
I have attached a screenshot of my application history showing how the system keeps instantly rejecting me within minutes, sometimes without even providing any specific reason anymore.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
Muhamad Alwan Fadhlurrohman
