Recently, my update feed stopped working. That is, the projects I follow aren't showing up in my feed. It was working fine last week, though. For example, someone released an update, and I got a notification about it in my feed, but now it's gone.

This seems like a platform-side issue, because if the notifications are still being generated but the updates are not appearing in the feed, the followed projects are likely not syncing properly with the update feed. You can try unfollowing and following the projects again, clearing cache, or checking from another browser/device. If it still happens, it should be reported to support as a feed visibility/sync bug.

I unsubscribed and resubscribed. Cleared my browser cache. Checked the mobile version of GitHub. The problem persists.
The last successful feed sync was last Friday. Since this Monday, the feed has stopped working properly.

Thanks for confirming. Since you have already tested resubscribing, clearing cache, and checking on mobile, this does not appear to be a local browser or subscription-state issue.

The fact that the last successful sync was last Friday and the issue started consistently on Monday is useful information. It suggests a backend feed-sync or notification-indexing problem. I would recommend including these timestamps in the bug report so GitHub staff can check whether there were any feed service changes or incidents around that period.
