Hi GitHub Community,
We have a GitHub Marketplace app that was originally published under the name solve-bug.
The app has since been rebranded to FixBugs, and the Marketplace listing now displays the updated product name. However, the public Marketplace URL still uses the old slug:
https://github.com/marketplace/solve-bug
We’d like to update the Marketplace URL to match the current brand, ideally to something like:
https://github.com/marketplace/fixbugs
I couldn’t find a self-serve setting in the GitHub App or Marketplace listing settings to edit the Marketplace URL slug.
A few questions:
We’d like to avoid delisting and recreating the app, since the current listing is already published and used by customers.
Relevant details:
Current Marketplace URL: https://github.com/marketplace/solve-bug
Current product/listing name: FixBugs
Publisher organization: ai-mo-du-lo
Website: https://fixbugs.ai
Would appreciate guidance from anyone who has faced this issue before.
Thanks!
