I have purchased github copilot annual pro plan with 100$ on 3 August 2025, now it is about to expires on 3 August 2026 as on today i am not satisfied with new billing model. cancelled the plan. When can i expect my refund (unused amount) to my original payment method.

When you cancel a GitHub subscription, the standard behavior is that the plan remains active until the end of your billing cycle (in your case, August 3, 2026), and a prorated refund for unused time is not automatically issued.
However,
If you processed a "Cancel & Refund" flow or if your refund request is manually reviewed and approved by GitHub Billing Support, it typically takes 5 to 10 business days for the funds to reflect on your original payment method, once approved or triggered.
