The "not on campus" error happens because your Wi-Fi IP address makes you look far away from your school. To fix this, turn off Wi-Fi entirely, switch your smartphone to 4G/5G mobile data, turn on your GPS, and disable all VPNs or iCloud Private Relay. Open a fresh Incognito window on your phone's browser, make sure your GitHub Profile Name exactly matches your student ID/CHSI document, and resubmit. If it still fails, go to the GitHub Support Portal, select Verification Issues, and choose "My selected school has incorrect information" to bypass the AI and get a human review. |

Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
Hello GitHub Education Team,
I would like to ask for help with my GitHub Education application.
My GitHub username is: mrshanna666-tech
I am a full-time undergraduate student at Chongqing University of Science and Technology, China.
My application has been automatically rejected multiple times even though:
However, my application is still automatically rejected, and it repeatedly asks why I am not on campus.
I have already checked my location, profile information, and enrollment documents several times.
Could someone please help me understand why this is happening or advise whether my case can be manually reviewed?
Thank you very much.
If necessary, I am happy to provide additional documents, including my student ID, class schedule, or any other proof of enrollment.
