Can't update GitHub pages site because all actions are stuck in queue

Hello, I have been facing an issue with the Github pages site. I am not able to make any changes to a specific file but the changes do not go through as they are in some sort of queue. It will give me this message infinitely:

Getting Pages deployment status...
Current status: deployment_queued
Getting Pages deployment status...
Current status: deployment_queued

I have tried using an incognito window, there are no build errors in Jekyll, and I have tried many other things. Nothing works.
