Introduce yourself
Hi all, I'm Ali. Third year Computer Engineering. Honestly I've been on GitHub
for a while just pushing code and never actually said hi to anyone lol, so here
I am. Right now I'm neck deep in a Node.js project called BrainHub (socket.io,
firebase, way too many API routes) and also building an auth API from scratch
called AuthForge just to actually understand JWT/OAuth/2FA properly instead of
copy pasting auth code forever. Also contribute to an open source DSA platform
on the side. Ask me anything about backend debugging, I've fought with Prisma
and Mongoose version issues more times than I'd like to admit.

Where are you in your GitHub journey?
Brand new to GitHub
And where are you going next on GitHub?
honestly still push stuff manually through the web UI half the time, need to
actually get disciplined with proper branching + git cli instead of being lazy.
also want to get more involved in a couple more open source repos, not just my
own projects
What technical skills or projects are you working on?
working on a Node/Express backend (BrainHub) and a TypeScript + Postgres +
Prisma auth system (AuthForge) — JWT rotation, RBAC, rate limiting, that kind
of stuff. also built an ecommerce backend for a small shoe brand earlier
(mongodb + razorpay), and I contribute to an open source DSA learning site
in vanilla JS.
