I've been looking for a simple ERA calculator while tracking stats for local baseball games. Most of the tools I found either only support MLB's 9-inning format or don't handle partial innings like 6.1 and 6.2 correctly.
What I liked is that it supports 6, 7, and 9 inning games, automatically converts partial innings, and also explains the ERA formula with examples instead of only showing the final result.
I'm curious what everyone else uses for calculating pitching stats. Do you prefer online calculators, spreadsheets, or do you calculate ERA manually?
