Reproduction steps: Go to education.github.com/pack → open the verification modal. The modal displays only the camera interface and a "Start Camera" button (see attached screenshot). No file upload option is visible.
So the upload images with my web cam were blurred that's why I got rejected several times already.

Request: Please allow me to submit my verification document via file upload or provide an alternative method where I can securely send the scanned file. I can attach the document immediately if you instruct me how to proceed.

Hi! A few things that have helped others with this exact "camera-only, no upload button" problem:

1. Try changing the School field
   When you get to the school name step, instead of picking your school from the dropdown list, type it in slightly differently (e.g., add "University" or a small variation). This sometimes makes the system show an "Upload a document" button instead of forcing the camera — because it can no longer auto-match your school automatically.
2. Try a different browser
   Several people found the upload option only appears in Google Chrome, not Firefox or Edge. Worth trying Chrome specifically if you haven't already.
3. Improve the camera photo instead
   If the upload option still doesn't show up, you're stuck with the camera — but you can improve the photo quality:

Use good, even lighting (avoid glare on the ID/document)
Hold the camera steady, or rest it on something solid
Fill the frame with the document, but keep your name, school name, and date clearly visible and in focus
Try zooming out slightly rather than too close, which often causes blur

4. Contact GitHub Education Support directly
   If none of this works, open a ticket here: https://support.github.com/contact/education
   Explain that the upload option isn't showing, only camera, and that it's producing blurry results despite good lighting/steady hands. Attach your prepared document. They can sometimes do a manual review.
