Jobs/runners get killed after 16 minutes

Recently, some long jobs (usually taking an hour) are being killed after 16 minutes.
The message is:

The runner has received a shutdown signal. This can happen when the runner service is stopped, or a manually started runner is canceled.

Is it a recent change/limitation ?
