Formatted code in a issue

Since no one seems to have thought of this before and I'm obviously a genius, I have a suggestion for a crazy function:

It should be possible to post formatted code in an issue.

Here is the example. I really tried it, but the XML code is displayed without line breaks. The code was simply copied from the intelij:
