Hello GitHub team,

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to write to you regarding a problem I am currently experiencing with the activation of GitHub Copilot on my account.

I followed all the recommended steps to link my student account to GitHub and added my school email address in the account settings according to the instructions provided. Additionally, I have submitted the required supporting documents to verify my student status.

However, despite all these steps, I still have not been able to activate GitHub Copilot on my account. I expected the procedure to be completed in a reasonable amount of time, but so far I have not received any confirmation or notification from GitHub.

I understand that you might receive a large number of requests, but this situation is starting to become concerning for me, as GitHub Copilot is a tool that I would like to use in my projects.

Would it be possible to check the status of my activation request and provide clarification on why it is taking so long?
