Describe the feature
Hi! It’d be really nice to have the option to have a line/bar/horizontal option to complement the circular gauge for the lock screen widget on iOS, similar to the one we can make for Apple Watch.
It’d also be really nice to be able to “share” or directly “import” the templates we build for Apple Watch complications directly into the lock screen widget in iOS, to prevent having to rebuild them, and allowing feature parity between the two, as fundamentally they are the same. Many apps share complications from Apple Watch as widgets on iPhones, and vice versa.
An example of a complication I made is below in the middle of the screenshot, and it would be great to have this bar option on the lock screen widget of my iPhone!
Use cases
Quicker visualisation of data and metrics, and larger sizes (good for aging eyes!)
Save time rebuilding widgets from Apple Watch section of iOS companion app in the lock screen of the iPhone
Feature parity meaning feature changes or updates to one companion app feature would be implemented automatically on the other also. Changes in widgets could propagate to complications and vice versa for example.
Examples
Two examples below!
Tesla lockscreen widget for vehicle battery status (shown on left widget location in screenshot)

Apple first party iPhone battery widget (shown in image in red box)
Anything else?
For devices running iOS 16 or newer to support complications on iOS
