Describe the enhancement

Having a native Remote card would be welcomed addition. While custom cards and manual setups using tile cards are possible, a simple out-of-the-box solution would be ideal. This would avoid adding complexity and hours of setup. It doesn’t need to be fancy; just a generic device with standard buttons and a d-pad thxat works with most compatible devices and is easily mappable.

Another option is to include a button in the “more info” popup that opens the remote interface instead of a dedicated dashboard card.

Given the broad scope, I’m primarily referring to media players and TVs that already have a remote entity.
