Describe your idea

2 different purges (possibly adjustable) for sensors that record e.g. 1 year and 1 for e.g. 30 days.
This prevents small hard drives from quickly becoming full of junk data and also prevents backups from being smaller and faster. This would also make saving and restoring backups much easier.

Just phrasing this request differently;
There is only a purge for short term statistics. I think we also need a purge option for LTS (eg in months). My system is running for years now and the database keeps growing. More than 50% of the data is LTS.
