IQTREE Web Server crash?

Hello,

I've been using IQTREE Web Server for several years now. Thank you so much for developing such a great tool!

Lately, I've been encountering some issues with the IQTREE Web Server. My jobs submitted on 10/21 are still in "waiting" status, and so are the other jobs I submitted since then. Reloading the result links also doesn't help.
(The alignments I uploaded are not that large, I think, with fewer than 30 species and a total length of about 3400 bp. )

I'm wondering if anyone else also runs into the same problems? Or is the server under maintenance?

Indeed there had been a maintenance some some month, where for technical reasons the backend server had to be exchanged. Although all our tests worked fine and most jobs seem to run smoothly afterwards, there seem to be a few that seem to run unsuccessfully and then vanish from the queuing system, while the job stays listed as “waiting”. So far, we were not able to successfully reproduce this behaviour to understand and fix it. Hence, could you please either send me (directly to my email ***@***.*** ***@***.***> - not to this emailing list!) the email address you used (if any) when submitting your job mentioned above or the ID of the job (251021...). Only this way I have any chance of identifying your job and to look into it. Best regards and thanks again, Heiko

Thank you so much for the reply and, of course, for maintaining the IQTREE server!

After my last comment, I tried to submit a job again on 11/4, and it appears to be successful now. However, that is the only successful job, while others still sadly remain in "waiting" status.

I'm more than happy to provide my user email and job IDs, but I can not get your email address from your comment. All the crucial digits are replaced by "*" signs, maybe because of GitHub's privacy settings?
Will it be more convenient if I provide my email here instead?

I just wanted to say I have been finding the same thing - my IQ-TREE jobs submitted in late October stay as "waiting" and never seemed to run. I eventually ran them on my own machine over a couple of days instead. But there does seem to be maybe be an issue with the IQ-TREE web server...

Just to repeat what the previous commenter Ting-Wei said - it's a great tool and I use IQ-TREE for all my phylogenetic analyses. Thank you for maintaining it.
