REQUEST more logical wedge perimeters

I would like to have the possibility of wedges NOT extending into the open spaces of a menu.

Right now the wedge for Folders extends to a third of the entire menu, because there are no items defined in that regions.
This makes accidental selection very easy so it would be good if a wedge could be limited to the green perimeter.

Actually I think it would be great if I dragged the mouse too far where there are no menus the menu would be deactivated entirely.

Sorry, but I do not see why your suggestion is more "logical". Currently, the separation line between two items is always perfectly in the middle of two items. This is effective, easy to understand, and maximizes the wedge size which makes items as easy to select as possible.

I see that your suggestion would make the bottom item symmetric. But what about the top one? Why should this be so large...?

Yes please! I love this app and, for me, I just cannot use it without an option as suggested by the OP, it would be great to have this option, so those who don't require it carry on as they were, and an option for those of us who simply want to click on the icon in the wheel and not anywhere on the screen. Sometimes I get distracted or change my mind to do something else after activating the wheel, and would like that it won't trigger apps by accident. If Selection Wedges aren't visible also, it makes it even easier to click on wheel items I didn't mean to. Would this be possible please? Thanks!
