Things that seem to work: Display brightness control, sound volume control, touchpad, touchscreen, USB ports, power control, fans, battery display, no lockups or odd behavior found.

Things that don't work: Have not found any yet.

Optional - Notes

1. Using Mint 22.2 with Kernel 6.14.0-37 (I did not need the newer HWE kernels)
2. Add kernel option for disabling power saving modes in the AMD GPU - this is for display lockups (where the mouse moves but doesn't do anything). See this thread for instructions: https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?p=2695812#p2695812
3. Add configuration file "/etc/modprobe.d/alc287.conf" with this line "options snd-hda-intel model=(null),alc287-yoga9-bass-spk-pin" to enable sound for all speakers (otherwise changing volume only changes tweeter and gets tinnier when louder and bass when quiet). discussion here: https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/lenovo-yoga-pro-7-14asp10-audio-issue-no-all-speakers-firing/163480/2
4. Turned off Wifi power saving (so always on) as my wifi would stay connected but I would get no data (perhaps every hour or so for 5-10 seconds). Wifi stayed connected but just no data and it would self correct. Annoying but not catastrophic. I edited the file "/etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/default-wifi-powersave-on.conf" to change the power save line with 3 to 2 "wifi.powersave = 2". The value of 3 enables power management on the wifi card, the value of 2 disables power management. Reboot computer.

5. With Kernels newer than 6.14 I got 1 second pauses every 7 minutes ("dmesg -w" in terminal showed the matching events). Completely blacklisting the Kernel module "Ideapad_laptop" solved the problem with no visible downside (using Mint Kernel 6.17.0-23-generic now).
