2 Ideas for making LinuxMint feel more like Windows

Hello there,
thank you for all your commitment and this great operating system.
I changed recently from Windows 10 and noticed two things that feel counter-intuitive in LinuxMint, that I wanted to share as improvement requests (also to make the switch for others more appealing and easier):

1. in Windows 10, when you grab a file from the desktop and move it onto say Firefox or the File Manager in the Taskbar, that window opens and I can drop the file there. In my Linux Mint that doesn't happen and I don't find an option to turn that on.
2. When saving a downloaded file in the file manager and wanting to rename the file, I have to click onto the file name first, because otherwise it searches a location. I find it much more convenient if it changes the file name when I start typing (as in Windows 10).

edit: and a third one just came to mind, but maybe it belongs to a different forum: when working in libre office and closing a document without saving, in the dialogue that appears, the option "close without saving" is highlighted, which is also the other way around in windows and can lead to unfortunate missclicks.

Linux Mint doesn't exist to be a Windows clone. The objective has never been to "make it like windows".

Ah okay, sorry, didn't know that! I thought because it looks and feels much like windows, that that's the mission, to make the switch easier and more attractive to people.
