I’m requesting that LinuxServer.io consider adopting an official image for readsb. I’ve already created a fully functional image that follows the LinuxServer.io standards—including LSIO‑style Dockerfile structure, S6 overlay, and the expected directory layout—and it’s ready for review or adoption.
You can find it here: https://github.com/blackoutsecure/docker-readsb/
Since readsb is widely used in the ADS‑B community and integrates naturally with other LSIO‑maintained tools like tar1090, having an official LSIO image would provide long‑term stability and consistency for users deploying ADS‑B stacks. The groundwork is already complete, which should reduce the effort required to bring this into the LSIO catalog.

Application Description
readsb is a Mode‑S/ADS‑B decoder and aggregator used for aircraft tracking. It provides data for tools such as graphs1090, tar1090, and other ADS‑B visualization or analytics systems. It is widely used in the ADS‑B community and actively maintained.
Thank you for your time and review!
