Minimal Plane setup for basic project management only

Hi Team,

I’m evaluating Plane for internal/self-hosted project management use and only need the core project management functionality, not the full SaaS feature set.

My goal is to use a minimal subset of Plane for:

• Authentication
• Workspace / Team management
• Project management
• Issues / Tasks
• Comments
• Status / Priority / Assignee
• Basic permissions / roles

At the moment, I do not need features such as:

• AI
• Analytics
• GitHub / Slack integrations
• Automation
• Live collaboration
• Billing
• Notifications
• Advanced multi-tenant functionality

I’m currently running Plane locally and trying to get only the core project management workflow working for internal use.

Could someone guide me on:

1. Which modules/apps are essential for only the basic project management workflow?
2. Which modules/features can safely be disabled or ignored?
3. Is there a recommended minimal/lightweight setup for self-hosted internal usage?

The goal is to use only a subset of Plane instead of the complete platform. to reduce the complexity and cost to manage it.

Any guidance would be really helpful.
