Why signal quality matters for MCP tools:
XLI P/C hit 5.32 (normal: 0.5–1.2). Sounds alarming. After filtering: 98% was $0.01 CEG calls. Raw = "neutral." Filtered = "extremely bearish." MCP tools that pipe raw financial data without preprocessing give models the wrong context to work from.
