Hi Patrick, our release approach is:
Right now, our main focus is on unifying the project infrastructure (tests, deployment, etc.) to ensure stability and a reliable release process. We’re also working on a landing page, documentation, and a demo site. To clarify: breaking changes cannot be avoided – that’s exactly what major versions are for. Still, you can expect a stable maintenance cycle, but also clear versioning whenever incompatible changes are necessary. A bit of extra context: We’ve also forked the ui-classic-bundle, renamed it to admin-bundle and made it a core dependency. The reason is that we’ll continue to use ExtJS as our backend framework, and we’ll upgrade ExtJS to new major versions in a GPL-compliant way. The bundle stays technically separate, but it’s part of the OpenDXP core going forward. |

Hi guys,
thank you for this Fork. Can I ask what the intended release cycle is? Are you looking to do major updates with breaking changes as frequently as "vanilla Pimcore" does or will it happen in a more maintenance-friendly way?
Thanks, Patrick
