OpenQDA 1.0.5 released!

As noted on the release page we have released version 1.0.5. on March 12th, 2026.

The highlights of version 1.05 (and 1.0.4) are:

• Complete overhaul of the Analysis Page — one user was unable to load their 18,000(!) codings due to unperformant database queries
• Visualizations no longer display all content immediately; instead, they can be expanded and collapsed, since they previously froze with 18,000 codings
• Font size in the editor can now be zoomed (+/- buttons) without affecting formatting and without needing to use the browser zoom
• Better support for mobile devices (not yet 100% perfect, but far better than before)
• Codes can now be created on the Coding page before any texts have been uploaded or created
• Team invitations now send a notification that the user has been invited
• Developer documentation has been expanded with a few "Troubleshooting" pages
• All (known) security vulnerabilities have been closed
• Backup solution has been improved so that in the event of an incident, the backup server remains unaffected
• Tests have been expanded
• Code names are now all readable (Safari unfortunately cannot calculate the contrast, so everything now has a white background)
• Registration optimization should prevent users from making errors when entering their email
• The profile now explicitly warns users if they have not yet clicked their confirmation link
• Pandoc as converter — we can now also upload Markdown, Docx (Word), and ODT (LibreOffice) files
• Uploaded files are now saved independently of their filename (which was causing problems with names in languages with special characters...)
• CSV export is now RFC 4180 compliant
• Dialogs should now be able to be opened multiple times in a row
