Following an imported route (gpx, kml) - request

I have recently discovered Organic Maps and I am finding it really useful. I especially like the very clear maps and the ability to use all features without using mobile data. It would be great to be able to use an imported gpx or kml route. At present it is only possible to create a route in the app and follow that, and that is quite complicated and limited. It would be nice just to use a route already created externally and then within Organic Maps to select the route and follow it. So the map would give guidance on the directions and show details etc. Thank you.
